• Golfing & Performance Data: Handicap indexes, GHIN numbers, hole-by-hole round scores, driving accuracy, putting statistics, and tournament entries.
• Social Information: Posts, comments, likes, and highlights shared within the club's social feed.
• AI Interaction Data: Chat logs, prompts, and performance context submitted to the AI Caddie for course management advice and post-round coaching summaries.

2. How We Use Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Calculate and update your rolling 365-day World Handicap System (WHS) index.
• Generate live tournament pairings, leaderboards, and standings.
• Generate personalized AI coaching summaries and on-course strategic advice.
• Facilitate user-to-user communications on the social feed.

3. Third-Party Services

We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf. Currently, we utilize:

• Google Gemini API: We securely transmit specific, anonymized round performance metrics and chat queries to Google to generate our AI Caddie insights and post-round coaching summaries.
• Cloud Hosting & Database Services: To securely store your profile data, scorecards, and application state.

4. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Your passwords are securely hashed before storage, and API communications are encrypted. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information, including historical golfing rounds and scorecards, for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services and maintain accurate historical WHS differential tracking.
